So how did my weekend start out? Well lunch at Oodles was wonderful, minus the long line :) After, it was a few hours of paper work to file expenditure claims for the cycling club, not to mention the people are wonderful to deal with, unlike what I have heard. And then what better way to end the school day than my favourite class, cs 232, the wonderful computer architecture class :-) Then I went to my parents' place, and watched daddy day care and final destination 2 with my Dad, while doing laundry. daddy day care was hilarious and lived up to its hype, final destination 2, just a rip off of the first one, just different people... and I think they left it open for a sequel, whatever else they could do, I don't know :)

Then I came home today, and went to a speaker building workshop hosted by IEEE club at UIUC.. It was lots of fun :-) They had these speaker kits, where we had to assemble (solder) the crossover board for each speaker-box. I got to learn to use a glue gun today, and man is it fun :-) I still got my soldering skilz down cold, just as I did years ago :) We had PapaDels for lunch, always good and then it was back to assembling the speaker-boxes. I got them done around 5pm, and tested them, they sound pretty good. They say they're going to have a workshop to build a sub-woofer and an amp in the near future, so I should have some kool stuff in the near future, maybe I can hook it up to my dvd player, and watch movies in surround sound... that would rock!!!

I got talked into going to see the matrix revolutions when I had returned from the workshop, did I mention carrying about 25 lbs of speakers on the bus, and walking, is not fun :) Back to the matrix... I was told it was a waste of my money, that I disagree with... I feel like there is another sequel on its way, despite this being a trilogy... like what happened to Neo, what about the conversation the oracle and the architect had... What happened to the city of Zion, in terms of rebuilding... What about the world in between? The good thing if they do have a sequel? No more Trinity, which means, no more lovey-dovey scenez in the middle of the movie and action!!!!

Now back to reality, homework :)
